Orange F ood photography has become a highly specialised field, to cater for the enormous demands for food images in magazines, cookery books and advertising.

Most food photography is undertaken in indoor settings with artificial lighting, where the photographer is challenged to capture the colour and freshness of dishes in an appealing and appetizing manner.

Wikipedia presents an interesting overview of the broad subject of food.
