Of all the definitions for the word bridge, "a structure that allows people or vehicles to cross an obstacle such as a river, canal, or railway, etc." is the one that usually springs to mind. These man-made structures can offer a wide range of photographic challenges and opportunities - from the spectacle of grand engineering works to the details of fine craftsmanship.
